Wound Clinic (Torture Chamber)

As you can see from the top 3 pictures... the wound is getting better. After 3 weeks of visiting the Wound Clinic in St. George every other day, we are finally moving in the right direction. I would probably be done by now but it seems as if every time there is improvement they go in and scrape, cut, pull and rip the thing apart again. According to the torture people this is "helping". I will still be visiting my friends at the clinic for the next month or so until it totally heals...or until they actually kill me themselves! They are not really that bad and have been amazing at this wound healing thing; Elise and I have made some good friends throughout this mess. Nothing like making lemonade from lemons!

INDIO 2

We had so much fun last time we were in Indio, we decided to go back over our UEA break. This time we brought along a few friends. The highlight of the trip was when Kevin was called "Tobacco Patch" by a drunk indian lady. (She thought the bandage over his pacemaker was a nicotine patch.)

The white line in the photo is a thread from the inside stitches.

2 weeks ago Kevin got a new pacemaker. Unfortunately, he doesn't know how to take it easy. He ended up ripping it open, this is the result. Luckily, it didn't tear all the way to the pacemaker or he would have had to get a new one put in. Now instead of taking a few weeks to heal, it will now be a few months. (Kevin says: The moral of the story is... DON'T GET A PACEMAKER!!!)
