Easter weekend

We had a great Easter weekend! On Friday we went to Snow Canyon in St. George. The kids loved the sand dunes and hiking around on the rocks. Unfortunately, after burying all of the kids up to their necks in the sand for an amazing picture, we discovered the camera battery was dead.

On Saturday we went to Lake Mead. It was a beautiful, perfect day at the lake. It was about 90 degrees outside and a chilly 60 degrees in the water, but that didn't stop our kids from playing in it all day! We had a blast. All of the kids went on the kneeboard and double tube. Even Kevin was convinced to ride on the tube. But not mom, she's a wimp!

Amazingly, even though we were gone most of the weekend, the Easter bunny still found us! The kids had so much fun gathering all of the eggs. Even the animals had fun watching them!

March Birthdays!

We had 2 Birthdays in March. Kolton turned 13 on March 3rd. His favorite gift was the Reggie Bush jersey that he got from Grandpa and Grandma Donovan.

MaKell turned 7 on St. Patricks Day. She loved her shamrock soccer ball and her new scooter!

MaKell gets 3rd place in science fair!

MaKell was so proud of herself. She took 3rd place in the Science Fair at her school. She came up with her project all by herself after Grandma Edwards gave her a Shamrock plant.

We are so happy our son(Kolton) set this up for us! He is such a computer guinus!(Unlike Kevin because he can't even beat him a football!) We started out with our blog by it being "The Black Donovans" I got so mad at him I made him delete it! We are going to Las Vegas Sunday to do some of Kevins business work! Kolton has been training him how to coon hunt! Maddie is working on her blog right now. Her's is maddysorules.blogspot.com. Ryann has been working on her attitude on how to get anything she wants fake crying. Um... Makells birthday is coming up! It is March 17th! Lately Maddie and the rest of the family have been riding freakles bare-back. Kolton is going over to grandma and grandpa Edwards house to help them with their blog page. If you notice the picture above, it is us with our Chirstmas presents. And we should have our Hawaii pictures up there also.
